Who we are
PickYouPic is a photography services business. We operate this website and the Instagram account @pickyoupic, where people can message us about shoots, prints, and related services. You can reach us any time at pickyoupic@gmail.com.
Automated replies
Messages and comments sent to @pickyoupic may receive an automated first response generated with the help of an AI assistant. This helps us reply faster and collect the details needed to serve you. A human member of our team reviews enquiries and handles bookings, pricing, and anything the assistant cannot answer.
What we collect
- Instagram profile basics — your username and the ID Instagram assigns to your account, provided to us by Meta when you message or comment.
- Message and comment content — the text you send to us on Instagram.
- Details you choose to share — such as your name, phone number, email address, and what service you are interested in.
We do not collect passwords, payment card details, or precise location through Instagram, and we do not access your account beyond the conversation you have with us.
How we use it
- To reply to your messages and comments.
- To follow up on enquiries and bookings you have asked about.
- To keep an internal record of enquiries so our team can serve you without asking for the same details twice.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where it is stored
Enquiry details are stored in our internal business tools — a private spreadsheet and our workflow system — with access limited to the PickYouPic team. To provide the service we rely on a small number of processors: Meta (Instagram messaging), Google (Workspace and spreadsheets), and an AI model provider that processes message text to generate replies. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting booking, after which they are periodically reviewed and removed. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time — see below.
Data deletion
To request deletion of your data: email pickyoupic@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include your Instagram username. We will delete the messages and enquiry details we hold about you within 30 days and confirm by reply.
You can also simply reply “delete my data” in your Instagram conversation with @pickyoupic and our team will action it the same way.
Your rights
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to pickyoupic@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
